The "Edit Topic" link on a forum post allows moving the post to a different forum, along with other functions, such as changing the post's title.
The list of forums displayed includes every group forum, along with the common forums available to all users. The list appears to be in more or less random order.
The list of forums shouldn't include groups the user can't access. The list should be organized in some sort of rational manner. If there are more than a few entries, a search function should narrow things down.
The images below show the "move message" process in detail.
The "Edit Topic" link is found at the top of a forum post.

The "messageboard" dropdown on the Edit Topic page is what allows the post to be moved.

The messageboard dropdown reveals a long list of forums, which appears to include the forums for every Foldit group. The list of forums is not sorted, and is not searchable.

Scrolling the list is dangerous, since it's easy to get lost. For some reason, the main boards, such as Discussion and Bugs, may appear near each other in the list. Some of the entries, like "Recipe Comments", don't appear to belong to group, but they also aren't shown under Community -> Forums. Parts of the list seem to be sorted alphabetically, but large sections appear to be in random order.
