As described in the earlier blog post http://fold.it/portal/node/988711 the 2010 University Protein Folding Challenge Starts today. All enrolled students can still form groups and compete in the challenge. For details on competition rules, how to compete, prizes, etc. see

The primary goal of this competition is to promote scientific discovery in biochemistry with student population. The non-student Foldit players will get a crack at the same puzzle as soon as the competition ends.
