When using ctrl-x to copy notes, pasting that text will be pasted back with additional line separators (carriage returns, line feeds ?)

If I copy the original and paste it into notepad, then copy the 'faulty' text from the notes and paste it into notepad, there is no difference, I thus suspect that the addition of the extra CR or LF is done in the copy phase rather than the paste phase.

This seems a bug to me.

In addition, ctrl-x without selecting any text does not, as would be expected, delete all text in the editor.
