An existing double or triple bond (as displayed with the thin bonding line) is selected on both ends (both atoms are selected, no other atom is). When selecting the same double bond or triple bond, the bond reverts to single bond and is also displayed as a single bond.
As we cannot identify individual atoms on screen I cannot describe which atom it is in an example. I'd say test this on the center bonds in the shared example "BP bonding error".
