When I try to switch back to main from devprev on Windows 7 Home Premium - by changing the options.txt file to 'main' I get an error message.

bad bool format for autoshow_chat/global:'2'

meanwhile my harddisk is filling up with tmp files…
Any assistance would be appreciated.

thanks spdenne
well deleting 80,000 tmp files etc was yards of fun - and changing the autochat to 0 worked fine so I can use main.
still not quite sure why we needed an extra autosave, and wasn't quite sure what this was:
''Foldit should handle large dialogs like the macro editor correctly again''
but no longer have the improvements to the Alignment Tool in Main

I believe this is caused by the 'show global chat when someone says my name' feature. Since before it was either true or false, the main client only knows how to deal with 1 or 0. The devprev client will also have a 2 value for showing the window when your name is used, so when you use this feature and switch to main, main wont be able to deal with it.

So it's not really a bug - it will be taken care of automatically when the features in the devprev client make it to main.

Yep I realise that thanks, I'll leave it open with lower priority until the *.tmp bug is fixed and the name calling feature is moved to main. So that people can find it if their name has been used in chat whilst using devprev, this will affect all users of devprev not just Windows users.
