When clicking to remove a band on the new interface, the click command incorrectly cascades through the software and is picked up by the segment selection function also.
How to duplicate the bug :
1) Use the new interface
2) Select a series of segments
3) Place some bands on the protein
4) Rotate the structure so that one of the bands is directly infront of any non-selected segment
5) Click to remove the band
You will notice that your original segment selection has been lost, and a single segment is now selected (the one which was behind the band).
Solution :
Drop the click 'flag' when entering the band deselection function
