I don't know how long this has gone on. I don't know if it happens with every message, either. However, it seems to be rather prevalent, at least for my messages.
As I can say that people have been unable to read all of my personal messages, it has left me to speculate that it comes down to one difference in how I type my messages… That all comes down to the fact I use Shift+Enter to drop down to a new line.
I never knew it was causing a problem though, primarily because everything I typed would still properly display on my screen, just as I intended and typed it.
Going back to my initial uncertainty, I don't know what triggers it either. For example a message I sent earlier today that had two line-breaks (shift+enter) seemed to include the first 2 lines, but not the third. Whether it's of merit, the third one was all numbers with comma+space separation; ie 107, 64, 33, 12
There was also a break-less message that had the tail-end cut off of it, based on at least one person's response, as they said I seemed to have no finished what I was saying. Again, on my side, it was all there, but for them it cut off the last ~12 words. Which this is the only thing I can say I've experienced, having seen someone else's message get seemingly cut short.
