I can't open any solution or guide in 170
when I try, these are the messages I get:
error opening "any-file".ir for read
and when I close that error message, this one is waiting behind it:
error reading "download_temp_any-file.ir"_solution; bad version
Btw, I'm using the normal foldit version, not the dev-preview.

This is expected behaviour right now. We will release the preview version as the main update soon, at which time you'll be able to play the puzzle in the normal version. We'll also extend the puzzle by a few days then.

With "expected behaviour" I'm going to assume you mean "It didn't work as we expected", right?!
Why else would you post a puzzle to main instead of posting it exclusively to the developer preview?
This "expected behaviour" took 30-45 minutes of my time.
I wouldn't be unhappy if something went wrong unexpectedly, I know you guys work hard, and I appreciate the constant improvements.
However, with saying this bug that makes it useless to work on the all hands puzzle in a normal way is "expected behaviour", to me that's pretty much the same as saying that we don't matter enough to inform us about the fact that you all of the sudden decided bugs are the new cool thing.

Don't get me wrong, Nicky, we know it's our fault. I meant expected behaviour as in the behaviour as described in the post on the news page, which predated your feedback entry.
So yes, it was our fault, and it didn't work as we anticipated, but we didn't (intentionally) try to hide this fact. What we did was immediately do the next best thing (release a beta) and post news about it. I am sorry that it wasted your time.
The beta should become main in a few days, at which time the puzzle will be extended, so your best bet until then is use the preview or not to play it.
I did see the post on the news page. However, to me "this (beta) version is able to access the All-Hands solutions on puzzle 170" has a different meaning than saying that the main version is unable to access the all-hands solutions on puzzle 170.

Sorry, you're absolutely right. I thought we had posted it on the feedback tracker, but we hadn't. It was a bit hectic, as we wanted at all costs to avoid closing the all-hands yet again. That's why in the end we decided to put out the preview, which could access the solutions, instead of closing it. But we should have been clear in our news and feedback posts.
Sunday morning and the top solution is still 9796 which was there Saturday afternoon. I played and got 9800 Saturday and there were others that had 9802, 9803 above me. None of these higher scores have been shared.
We are looking into this. I hope to be able to fix it today, but it may have to be tomorrow.
as of Tuesday evening still no updated shared solutions
The updates were fixed earlier today and should be running correctly again in future.
