Foldit

The Foldit installer freezes the computer when it is approximately 98% done. I am forced to press the reset button to reboot the computer. My laptop computer uses the Intel Centrino Duo core cpu (32 bit). I have 4 GB installed which the BIOS recognizes (after a BIOS update) but neither my Linux partition nor my Windows partition recognizes. What log files do you need to track down this problem? What other info is needed? I have tried installing Foldit with and without using Sudo but it didn't work in either case.
