Foldit not working anymore after update
as I have following errors after Your latest update,
(also Download from portal not working)

Went ahead and forwarded this to the devs, deleted redundant posts on news item. :)
This is still not working for me, even after reinstalling. Any news on a possible fix?
When we can get this problem fixed? I can't play anymore!
Also clean install will crash again!

It appears that we need to update our information, as recent changes have most likely rendered Windows XP incompatible with our game client. We strongly encourage using Windows 7 and above if possible.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will take steps to correct the information on our website.
To be more clear on this, we haven't intentionally disabled support, but the tools we are using to build Foldit on Windows don't support building for Windows XP anymore.
Foldit notwithstanding, I would recommend upgrading anyway, as Microsoft hasn't been providing security updates to Windows XP since April of 2014 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/WindowsForBusiness/end-of-xp-support)
Issue resolved, website updated.
