So why has no one already filed a bug report? Game chat has been unavailable since new web site has opened.
What's wrong? When does the Foldit management anticipate repairing chat? I'd really like to start communicating with my teammates, again.
I just missed Trigger over in vet last night. I was able to get into in-game chat a few days ago, and I'm still there, just letting that Foldit sit idle. External IRC seems to be working better, but even that has been spotty.
In-game chat does require installing devprev. Even then, there was only an update for Windows, and they were working on issues with the Mac build. Not sure if that was resolved.
The root cause is something to do with how authorization happens, and they're working on it, but I haven't seen an estimate of when it will be working again.
