I sent a group invite to a new member (who happened to be in the same room) and a page came up saying something to the effect of "you are not permitted to access this page". What is going on? Is this temporary, or does it need to be fixed? Thanks.

This bug has been around for well over a year for all groups. I couldn't find it in feedback, but know that the devs are aware of it, I think it came up in a dev chat long ago.
The work around is easy, and I'll send you instructions on how to do that.
Leaving this feedback open - it really would be nice if the system did work.
