So to clarify: I am NOT talking about the 'fade GUI' and 'Pulse GUI while working' options.
This is about the fact that when I open, for example, the Track window, Cookbook or Recipe Output window, there is a 'fading' effect by repeatedly redrawing those windows with varying levels of transparency so 'it looks nice'. I dearly wish for an option to have this 'fading' OPTIONAL. The effect causes extra network traffic, extra time when working and is annoying as I run ALL my machines headless, that is without a monitor attached and over a network connection.
