Hi,
I have an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphic card. Though it is an integrated card, it is a relatively fast one, and acceleration is enabled:
$ glxinfo|grep render
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20090712 2009Q2 RC3
There might be a software problem, because when I start foldit it outputs:
freeglut Unable to create direct context rendering for window ''
This may hurt performance.
I guess solving this would greatly help. Let me know if I can help further. I have an amd64 system (with 32 bits compatibility libraries).
