Losing connection to score server when switching to Intro Puzzles

When you switch to the Intro Puzzles (to help a newbie, for example) and then switch back to a Science Puzzle you lose connection to the score servers.
Neither your score on the puzzle page will be updated nor your opponents scores on the in-game scoreboard.
You have to restart the application to get your score credited.
Maybe that's the reason why some people didn't get their correct scores credited.

When I'm working on a puzzle while this puzzle expires and then switch to another puzzle I also lose connection to the score server.
