My Mac client crashed after a day in dev. When I reopened, it did the main update - worked for about a half hour, then crashed (log.txt attached).
When I tried to reopen, it wouldn't. Tried again and it did successfully open. Waiting to see if or how long to crash…
"SRVR_THRD error: Couldn't resolve host name: Error contacting server. "
Looks like it crash because of lost connection!
This should never happen!
If you have this problem as well, please let us know. We're having a hard time reproducing it.
This happens to me all the time. I use VPN to work from home, and whenever the network state changes while Foldit is running it crashes.
Just one of those wonderful fleeting bugs that has evaporated for now.
