The Mac client main window can be closed without quitting but cannot be reopened. The only way to continue after that is to quit and relaunch.
Suggestion: FIle menu should also have OPEN to reopen main window as well as QUIT.

I often use the green button to expand the window, occasional the yellow to hide the window but never the red button because that is tantamount to quitting the app.
