Mutate tool creates barrier of entry for people getting to the point where they can help you

The mutate tool works for one level, then stops showing the shapes of what each will mutate to on future levels.
A message appears saying that this will happen, so that part was obviously intentional, but I'm not sure you realize what this does.
This becomes a language requirement for using the program. Basically "stop learning molecular biology and go memorize flash cards before you can learn more molecular biology".
I believe your goal is to get people to play the game far enough to be able to see novel solutions they make, so this seems to go against your goals.
If this is being used in the classroom as part of a molecular biology degree, a degree which would need to include more then just molecular biology, and need to also include things like "communicating with other molecular biologists", then the learning requirements caused by dropping the shapes would be a moot point from the perspective of use case, since they are being required to learn that anyway.
If that is the case, could you add "disable/enable the shapes in the mutation tool" as a option? (I looked in options and did not see one)
Just in case I caused this: When running foldit the first time after install, I selected the "unlock all" option (I.E. what I considered as the "are you tired of doing the same campaign puzzles over and over, having it crash on you/not save, then having to do the levels over from #1 again, never getting to the later campaign puzzles?" option).
If my selecting the "unlock all" option is actually the option i was looking for, let me know and I can change this to a crashing/not saving bug report

The Educational mode puzzles are indeed intended for use in a classroom-like environment.

It shouldn't be necessary to complete those levels if what you're interested in is competing with the other Foldit gameplayers in the Scientific puzzles.
