The new devprev: selection is broken in the new DL. When you have Blue Print open it gets flaky. You can not select many times. This makes working 1457 pretty much impossible.

Just confirming Mike's assessment: In latest devprev (20171208-fc5ec2c0ec-win_x86-devprev), selecting segments in selection interface is broken while the blueprint tool is open. Many clicks on backbone fail to select anything, while others do select something. This is also true of Ctrl-clicks and Shift-clicks. Clicking the blueprint sequence selects a new residue, and then you can sometimes add to the selection by Ctrl-clicking or Shift-clicking the backbone, but you cannot start a new selection by just clicking the backbone. Clicking the background deselects everything as it should. When many residues are selected, often only one of them will appear as selected in the blueprint window. Sometimes the residue next to the one that appears selected in the blueprint window cannot be selected by any means, even if you extend the selection using Shift-click on backbone.

This also affects original interface, where there are some segments you cannot click or right click on (and therefore can't bring up tools for). In both interfaces, as I mouse over the backbone, some segments light up and are clickable, and others fail to light up and are not clickable. This true in original regardless whether blueprint window is open or not. It is true on both the design puzzle and the revisit puzzle.

I think this qualifies as an unplayable client.

I'm seeing some issues as well.

One of the first things I noticed was that small checkmarks have replaced the small X's anywhere there's a checkbox, such as conditions, View Options, and recipe dialogs.

On one client, I was unable to close or move the Blueprint panel. I could use the main menu toggle to close Blueprint. I was also unable to close or move the recipe output window.

After restarting the client, I was able to close Blueprint normally. But recipe output quickly got stuck again. I was able to move recipe output once, but then it refused to move further and couldn't be closed. I saw the same behavior on another client as well.

I'm also seeing the recipe output window scrolling when I try to do something else, such as moving the Blueprint window. The Building Blocks window also seems to be affected by this unaffected scrolling at times.

I was able to select normally, except when a segment got too close to the Blueprint window. Selection worked as expected even when a segment was overlapped by the recipe output or Building Blocks windows.

I suspect there was a change to a software component that caused a new problem or exposed an existing problem. The checkmarks are probably a symptom.

I'm on Windows 10, release 20171208-fc5ec2c0ec-win_x86-devprev. I've only tried the selection interface so far.

No, some of the issues seem to happen without Blueprint. For example, the recipe output window getting stuck happens even if you don't open Blueprint.

At the moment, we're waiting on an update to devprev to fix the selection issues, we'll see how things look after that.
