On returning to my PC after running a script overnight the structure was offscreen. The script has finished but I cannot find a way to retrieve the structure. Pressing 'Q' does not work.

Have you tried the HOME button?
Otherwise, try zooming out with the mousewheel and then right clicking on the background to move the display around (hopefully you can find it that way!)
