(resolved) Clients: Cannot resolve host name; and fold.it does not redirect to www.fold.it

When typing fold.it, which I regularly do, my browser states that it cannot find fold.it and suggests to go to www.fold.it instead.
www.fold.it works. This may be intentional, but no mention of that change on the website,

Addendum: new cliets cannot log on, error: "cannot resolve host name"
