saved solutions for puzzle 2266 lose score

Puzzle 2266 has gaps between segments 1 and 2, and 31 and 32. I'm guessing these gaps represent residues that went missing in the experiment.

Everything seems fine until you save a solution. When the saved solution is opened, the segments on either side of the gap suddenly have ideality of around -3,000 points, assuming everything is relatively close to the starting pose.

On the other hand, if segments 1 and 2 are now much farther apart, ideality may now be around -100,000 for both. For some reason, segment 1 is just a small sphere instead of the usual tube shape.

While a Foldit client is running, restore best seems to work as expected. A manually saved solution opens lower, even on the client where it was saved. Closing and restarting Foldit means the previous high score is lost, with no way to recover.

Shaking and wiggling seem to recover some points, but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to get back to the point where the solution was saved.

The problem is the same on V20-20230111-16cbc1f145-win_x64 and jV21-20230206-cb39f4bed1-win_x64-devprev.

The recipe Find the Gap shows the distances between 1-2 and 31-32 are the same when the saved solution is opened as they were when it was saved.

Also, changing tracks can wipe out a high score. Tracks rely on autosaved solutions, which have the same problem as manual saves.

Thanks for the feedback, @LociOiling! It looks like there was a formatting issue with the starting structure.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to fix Puzzle 2266 without closing and reposting the entire puzzle. I'll check with the scientist who posted this puzzle and see how soon they are able to do this.
