In the View Options menu, hovering over "Show outlines" displays "Show dark outlines around the protein. Hotkey: Shift+L".
Contrary to the hover text, the Shift+L hotkey opens the exploration map, which doesn't seem to do anything, at least on a regular puzzle. There doesn't seem to be a hotkey for "show outlines".
This problem seems to have been noted three years ago, see fold.it/portal/node/988910. That feedback seems to have been closed without the issue being addressed.
I'd suggest either giving show outlines a new hotkey (for example, Shift+O) or eliminating the reference to the Shift+L hotkey from the hover text.
This issue was noted on a current Windows client.
