Side chain information missing

Display of the various side chain characteristics shown in note mode is sporadic. For instance, some side chains show backbone naturalness, while others do not. Some show side chain naturalness, while others do not. The inconsistency is confusing.

Score terms will not show up if they are not contributing to the score; that is, if they are 0.

I must admit I was surprised to check this and see that some cowardly person "voted" against reporting a bug and yet doesn't have the guts to say why they voted against it. How freakin absurd.

An interesting and telling statement about the real value of your "voting" system…

"For the feedback tracker, the system has a special purpose. For the
comments, you would still use it as above, but for the actual issues,
your vote should be an expression of whether you want the feature
implemented or the problem fixed or the question answered"

I am not the one who voted against the report, but I would like to offer some reasoning why I would vote against a case.  I would say that in light of the above statement, it would not be necessary to post reasoning as to why you voted down if it fell along the lines of not wanting the feature implemented(in this case not wanting an expanded list of factors to pop in note mode) or not wanting the the problem fixed(this would be more in response to such topics as restore best in evolver mode, or hotkey changes).  I therefore would only post on voting down on cases if there was some other reason besides those two basic ones.

On another note, I do not believe that you are wrong in asking for the reasoning in voting down the case, however, the inflammatory method in which you asked for the reasoning is what caused me to write this post, as well as to vote down your comment.

Respectfully,
ZZZ

Sorry dude, but there is no inflammatory language in my original post.. there is my followup. for good reason. Because voting on bugs is a joke.

This whole peer pressure bull that they've implemented is ridiculus. I have no need to discuss this issue with you. This report is between me and the developers, not a like community like thingy like. And I would ahve left it if you or someone else hadn't voted on it.

You're using the voting system as social pressure. That is scientifically offensive

If you want no one to know what your problem is, write an email, but don't post it in an open bug tracker.

The vote is propably only "no, I don't find it confusing". Its a feature, not a bug. You want 62 single numbers, 57 of them 0? (or how many there are ^^)

And of course, everyone is free to ignore votes.

And yes, you sound quite inflammatory.

And to take a single event to say that something thats works otherwise quite good is without value could also be calles "scientifically offensive".

No one is "free to to ignore votes", because votes are how the foldit administration now deternines whether even a bug is a bug. Social engineering has no place in Science. Not in my country anyway. And it's my country that's footing the bill , not you. LennStar. You want to play this way, it can be played on both sides

"because votes are how the foldit administration now deternines whether even a bug is a bug"

This can only be an willful misunderstanding of the truth. I take it you're anjen/xiando?

Marking this issue as resolved because the behaviour is intentional.
