Strange wiggle behavior on 1937 - Rosetta Decoy 13

I am observing odd behavior when using the wiggle function on individual segments and groups of segments on puzzle #1937. The score will go up a few thousandths of a point, then drop several hundredths or even tenths of a point, and then repeat this cycle.

There are no bands in place or engaged. There are no constraints. Is anyone else observing this behavior? What could be causing it?

Even more odd: I didn't see this behavior after re-booting the game. If it appears again on another puzzle, I will let you know.
