ED recon puzzle 2460 lets us load solutions saved on 2258. Players can continue work on 2258 solutions. When these 2258 solutions are shared to group, however, they can't be evolved, even with gains of hundreds of points.
Oddly, players can continue with their own evolver solutions from 2258, and they will show as evolved on 2460. But when shared, evo seems unreachable for others.
The problem seems to be that solutions from 2258 load much lower in 2460. For example, the 82,235 solution from 2258 shown here loads as 65,677 in 2460. The 65,677 score is instantly valid, with no red line through the score.
Another part of the problem is that Foldit no longer shows the score required to evo a solution. This happened with a redesign of what is now the objectives area, which happened even before the new Foldit launched in September 2022. In earlier versions, things like open cuts and points required to evo were also shown in Objectives. They no longer appear unless a puzzle has other objectives defined. (It seems like cuts and evo score could become pseudo-objectives, but may there is some technical barrier to that.)
It seems like Foldit wants the original 2258 score back, plus two points. Based on results so far, this is unlikely to happen on 2460.

background
The solutions from 2258 must have been saved locally, on the right side in Open/Share Solutions. As shown above, on 2460, solutions from 2258 appear in blue, with "[prev. puzzle]" added to the solution name.
If you previously played 2258, you can open it again, and download any shared solutions that are available. Then, when you open 2460 again, they'll be available on the "Local Solutions" side of Open/Share solutions.
Foldit no longer has a way to download a previous puzzle, but it may still be possible to open 2258 by copying the puzzle setup files from a Foldit installation that did play the puzzle. For 2258, the setup files are "0002013562.ir_puzzle" and other ir_puzzle files in C:\Foldit or the equivalent.
