On moving along it is possible to hit the align to guide which un- aligns both helixs this makes it too hard for bigginer players. Also a reset does not fix this it requires you to exit the puzzle and re enter it. It's good if you want to test the tenacity of players before they start the larger learning curve. but having people get stuck on it for days is a little silly.
My suggestion just disable the align tool it offers nothing to this tutorial.
