I'm very sorry if you lost any translation!
Updating may remove the [FOLDIT_DIR]/cmp-resources-{N} folders. To prevent translations from being removed, in the developer preview (and the main release when that is updated) you can now put the the translation files in [FOLDIT_DIR]/locale instead of [FOLDIT_DIR]/cmp-resources-{N}/resources/locale. The [FOLDIT_DIR]/locale folder will not be removed on updates.
The documentation on the wiki has been updated.
