The Win Beta Client crashes randomly on my system
when trying to open either the puzzle chat or global chat user list
(the list which opens when left mouse click onto the (i) symbol).
The user list shows up for a short period of time,
then a windows message pops up stating that the foldit client
has recently crashed and asking if I want to send a bug report
to microsoft.
The fold it client remains operational and running until I press the
'do not sendbug report' button of the popup window.
Then the foldit application window closes.
My Laptop is a rather outdated Maxdata Laptop with
Intel Core 2 CPU T5500 @1.66 GHz, 981 MHz, 1GB RAM
Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family compatible GPU
My OS is Windows XP Professional SP3, Version 2002.
The graphics card only supports OpenGL 1.4.
Maybe my system is just too old and it's a shader problem?
However, all other graphics operations seem to run without problems.
