Sorry, it might be very old question, but Ill ask it once again: Im new in this… hm… game, and I`d like to ask some help in learning. Is there any overview of all functions on this forum or somewhere else, cause there are too many questions?
Read wiki and faq, also use chat to ask :D
Another question - I see, that secondary structures of protein, created by authors of puzzle, actualy aren`t full and should be revised, and may be changed, if it is required. Is it true?
What do you mean with full?
Yes, you can change SS as you want.
I mean is there possibility… no, necessity to change secondary structure? In the first protein, given for beginners to fold I see, that secondary structure should be rebuilt at some case.. is this opinion correct?
…if you see the puzzle as static object, the secondary structure doesn't matter to the game engine (you can even turn all segments to loops without changing score), but if you do backbone operations like wiggle or shake, sheets and helices are more stiff than loops, also rebuild does behave different then.
