Hi all,

In an effort to make recipes more accessible to new players, I'm putting out a call for nominations for "Best Recipes of All Time." Selected recipes may be added by default to the cookbook and/or turned into Actions of their own. For nominations, please make a comment below (one comment per recipe) with its name, a link to its recipe page, and why it should be chosen as one of the best recipes of all time. Please vote on other players' comments if you agree with their nominations!

Thanks!

Banded Worm Pairs Inf Filt 1.4.5 slow, but steady for the endgame
AFK3.1(BounceWiggle) alternate with bpi above to add fuze to the mix
QuakeR v4.5 great for very beginning to squeeze the protein down and reduce voids
MicroIdealize 4.0 test also great in the beginning to "idealize in place" - doesn't fling protein around like Random Idealize

Hello! I am donuts554, and I recommend this recipe Rav3n_pl GAB BiS v 2.0.2., at https://fold.it/portal/recipe/41981.

This recipe is made by the user Rav3n_pl, and is a Genetic Algorithm for Bands (GAB), and uses Bands in Space (BiS), which are bands that connect the protein to a point in space, and bring that part of the protein closer to that point.

This recipe uses Bands in Space positioned in random places around the protein to expand the shape of the protein, and then wiggling it so that it can contract into a shape that yields more points.

I recommend this recipe to be one of the Best Recipes of All Time because it helps you gain all of the potentially big amounts of points from your protein.

I think that this recipe is one of the best of all time because it is very good at shaping the protein in a good way, because I have gained a lot of points from running this recipe.

Also I believe it is a good first recipe to use after you have hand folded, because it also uses fusing algorithms (fuzes), which help stabilize the shape your hand folded protein through wiggling and shaking at different clashing importance levels. Using fuzes also incorporates(fuses) any changes to the protein, by stabilizing the altered shape.

Also, this recipe was recommended by Susume, a highly-ranked Foldit player in the video about the tips for the coronavirus puzzle at Foldit's YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzSCkJ0w4Dk 44 minutes into the video, saying that the recipe was "a great one to use".

I also believe that this is good enough to be one of the best recipes of all time, because while other recipes do not show GUIs or have confusing GUIs, this recipe has an easy to use GUI that shows up at the beginning. This vocabulary in this GUI is mostly basic vocabulary, and also you can adjust how long the recipe is going to run by adjusting the number in the "Generations" text box, which is the number of times it uses the Bands in Space.

Because of how this recipe fully accomplishes its job, its integration of fusing algorithms, simplicity of GUIs, and good review from a professional Foldit player, I believe that this recipe should be one of the Best Recipes of All Time.
