Global Soloist Score: How does this work? (400 points lost)

I have not logged on for 2 months and now I have 400 points less and I lost 50 positions in "Global Soloist Rank". Excuse my ignorance but I did not understand how it works!

I think your Global Soloist Score and Rank depend only on what you have done the past few months. If you haven't played for a long time, this Score can go to zero.

I think the Score listed in the Soloist Hall of Fame (http://fold.it/portal/players/s_ever)
for you never decreases, but it gives the advantage to those who have played Foldit the longest.

I think the Scores and Ranks on individual expired Puzzles and Contests listed for you at http://fold.it/portal/user/539687 never change.
