Performance issues - Windows 8?

Hi everyone,

I used to use FoldIt on my machine when it had Windows 7 installed. Fast-forward a year, and I've now got Windows 8 RTM installed and a different graphics card.

FoldIt is running VERY slowly - as if it's all rendering in software without using the graphics card.

Any ideas? Perhaps I need to install a specific version of DirectX or something?

I've got a machine with Windows 8 installed. I am having no problems running foldit.
