On your first time playing Foldit, you might see a pop-up asking you some information about yourself. Here's what we do with that information:
I'm using Foldit for education
We recommend this option for educators and students. This activates Education mode, which:
- Turns off non-group chat
- Unlocks all tutorial levels
I play a lot of games
Currently, this option has no effect other than providing demographic data. In the future, we plan on using this option to change the tutorial text to be more gamer-oriented.
