Hi,

This is an idea that someone, with better graphics skills - and software - than me, can finish.
So here it is the text. Then, where you see the word Foldit, we would put the logo. The background could be the usual green:

I foldit
YOU foldit
WE solve puzzles for science.

I think this reflects the cooperative nature of the Foldit project.

can all designs in form of banners (without T-shirt outlines etc.) be uploaded somewhere where people can use then e.g. for forum signatures?

I would say the wiki is a good place. I could arrange a page with how-to for the wiki-analphabets. (And please put it under CC - I could also write an example for that.)
