I'm running Foldit on Windows 7 (1.6 Ghz, 1 GB RAM). When Foldit launches, images display fine but only a few characters of text are displayed. I've attached a screenshot of the first screen; subsequent screens have the same problem.
Turning off graphic acceleration and toying with options.txt had no effect. Tips?

I am experiencing the same problem on an Asus netbook with the same specs as above. The green credits screen shows up correctly, but the next screen does not. Sometimes the program stops responding at this point. 
I have the same problem on a Gateway LT4004u (Intel GMA 3600 graphics) running Win7 Starter. The problem appears on both the built-in display and on an external HDMI display.
