I opened shared solutions for 2467 using release 39 on Windows (V39-20240620-20c4612fc8-win_x64-devprev), and in the end, it did show solutions on the left. First, I had the "downloading solution list" dialog for a while, then that disappeared, and I had just the Windows spinning disk. Finally, the Manage Solutions windows appeared. So while it worked, it was still slow, and a little confusing.

I tried the same thing on another client, while running a stopwatch. The "downloading solution list" message took about 10 seconds to appear. Then that disappeared around 30 seconds. Finally, the solutions appeared, about 37 seconds in.

The slow appearance of "downloading solution list" and its early departure are a little confusing.

Release 39 still doesn't show me my shared solutions for puzzle 2468, which was a problem last week on both main and devprev. I know they were there, since other players could see them. They also shared on 2468, but I can't see those either. On release 39, there's no "error getting shared solutions from the server" message on the left, the left side just remains blank.

So I wonder if there are also database issues affecting some players on some puzzles.

Even with the problem getting shared solutions, it seems like the sharing part has been working. So anything shared with scientists is probably there, but you may not be able to tell for sure.

The slow appearance of "downloading solution list" and its early departure are a little confusing.

The downloading dialog should only be up while Foldit is waiting for the network to respond. There's some post-processing of the data from the server. If the dialog disappears and Foldit becomes unresponsive, it's due to that post-processing, rather than any network/server issues.

On release 39, there's no "error getting shared solutions from the server" message on the left, the left side just remains blank.

That's not unexpected. If there's an error communicating with the server (or you've canceled the download) it should show you the cached information about what solutions are available on the server. If there's no such information, that panel will likely be blank.
