According to his user page, spvincent joined Foldit in 2007.
If the date this was posted, 05/08/2020, is Foldit's 12th birthday, then Foldit was created on 05/08/2008.
But spvincent joined Foldit in 2007, so Foldit must've existed in 2007 too, so it was not created in 2008.

So Foldit's birthday is either its 13th or above, not its 12th. It might be a typo.

My 11th year with the project is coming up too, congratulations and a big thank you to all who contributed. That we may celebrate it with a victory over Corona and other diseases !
