Happy weekend, folders!
With the newest update, team scientist bkoep has put together another great installment "Through the Eyes of Scientist". In this long video (nearly a half hour - set some time aside), he talks a lot about hydrogen bond networks and looks at some recent examples made from recent puzzles. I know I learned a lot here, and imagine you will too.
Please enjoy the new video.
As a side note, please be aware with the upcoming holiday season, many members of our team are taking a little bit of well deserved time off through the new year. As always, we appreciate your patience for any slowdowns and delayed replies for non-emergency/time sensitive issues that may pop up.
I did not understand everything yet but I learn bit after bit with these videos. Your feedbacks are much appreciated.
Frankly said, for the moment, I'm gaining these HB networks more or less by chance. I try to make monomers with a lot of H-bonding AAs, then I join the monomers and try to make sidechain bonds on the interface (in order to get the right distance), then I almost only run recipes (filter enabled) several days until some Hbond come by chance. Good recipe for this is GAB bis (it also mutate, which can give some hydrophobic on the interface).
I never succeeded hand folding on the H network yet, but with your video, I might try again asap.
Thanks !
