We have an exciting new update today! This update includes sequence alignment tools that allow you to use the structures of known proteins as a starting point for your solutions! More information about sequence alignment will be posted on the blog shortly. We've made several videos to help introduce these tools, along with some new levels:
Here's what's in this update:
Sequence alignment: There is now a tool for doing sequence alignment. You can use this powerful new tool in some puzzles to copy from the backbone of existing real proteins! It can be accessed from "Alignment Tool" in the Actions menu. Levels have been added to introduce the new tool.
Information Panel: The information panel is now movable and scrollable, and notes can be entered directly.
Rebuild: Rebuild has been adjusted to try more changes quickly. In the new interface, you can rebuild multiple sections at the same time.
Interface: Some tabs have been rearranged to take up less horizontal space. Text bubble buttons have been adjusted in levels.
Fixes: The new and current interfaces should not get mixed up, and the undo graph should remember settings. The R key conflict with rebuild/remove bands in the new interface is fixed.
