Hey Everyone,
We're aware of the server issues that have been affecting players. This includes the slow website and the long waits/hangs in the game client when a response is required from the server. We're sorry about the inconvenience this is causing.
We are working on resolving the issue in a few steps. The first step is to move away from our current temporary cloud database to a local machine. The second and more permanent step is installing faster replacement hardware which will be here in the near future.
We hope you will bear with us while we get this sorted out.
