I like Boots' idea. I also think it is strange that you can attach up to 100MB of txt or png files to posts in the Feedbacks section, but you can't attach anything to a Private Message (Foldit E-Mail). I think it would be useful to have all the different file attachment options in both places.

It would be nice to attach files. allowing us to share recipe's to individuals
Which would also be nice hint hint share to specific people, or share to Buddy List perhaps.
The fewer vectors for attack the better imo, GIMP is one useful free application which does much of what Photoshop does for prosumer users on Windows, not sure about other OS.
Private Messages in foldit are just that, not email, any logged in user could send you attachments in PMs and even if you trusted the sender as a folder you would need to save and scan, as they may have malware on their devices. Again, imo I'd prefer the foldit devs focus on tools etc. If someone wants to give you an email address they can, it is their responsibility not foldit's.
