The reason re-build wasn't added to the GUI scripting interface was because of the hand-folding puzzles. What if there were two interfaces, one for basic functions, but one that includes others like re-build, variables, loops, and if statements? It would make quick-scripting much easier. Also, on a side note, I would like to be able to call GUI scripts from each other… I can't just copy-paste like in a regular script.
