As I had some trouble with the download recipe functionality, I would really like to have the functionality to download recipes into my cookbook by entering the recipe number in the client even when connected to IRC chat.
Background:
For some reason the "Download" button for recipes does not work for me (probably some browser plugin is interfering with it…). My client does connect to IRC chat and I did not find an option to disable that (if I use "Play offline" it tells me that I have to be logged in to download recipes). Thus I do not get an option to open that box to enter a recipe number and download the recipe. I ended up starting a second instance of my client such that that instance could not connect to the IRC server and thus would offer me to download a recipe by entering its number.
It would have been much easier if I did not need a second instance of the client but could use some button in the user interface to open that box!
