Can auto and quicksave display the track

Do you think it would be possible to make it so that autosaves and quicksaves displayed the track description they were generated from. If so, it would be really nice.

Each track has its own autosave and quicksave files. They are stored in the subdirectory of the track with that name.

So: if you have 'trackone' and 'tracktwo', in addition to 'default', you can have three autosaves, each called 'autosave-recentbest.ir_solution' and similar names for creditbest, recentbest etc. , one in each directory and quicksaves from scripts in each directory, which are unrelated to other files in other directories.

If you need to know what track a quicksave comes from, check the tracks window. Alternatively you can save the originating trackname in a note.

What is your use case for this functionality ?

Hi Bletchley Park. Not sure I understand your question, but here goes. When something has gone wrong and I'm trying to backtrack but Undo fails me, I look for a fortuitous autosave to save my day. So looking for an autosave in a long long list of saves in my "Manage Solutions" screen, and given that I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, and the score does not necessarily tell me which save I need, I thought it would be faster if the title of the autosave would incorporate the track it was on.

I'm not sure this applies to quicksaves since I think I'm the one that generates these. I hope this helps.

Each auto and quicksave file has its own date and time.
If they were made by a recipe that outputs many time-
stamps, this info can help you track down which file
you want.
