Char sets in Chat

This ain't an urgent thing at all, and more of an observation than a suggestion: Chat here doesn't allow several non-English character sets.

My specific experience has been with non-working Chinese characters. I wouldn't be surprised if there are problems with Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and possibly Cyrillic characters as well, though I haven't tested all these.

As I said, this does not require any immediate action because everything, basically, can be transliterated into Roman characters.

e.g. german "Umlaute" don't work. And if you take Turkish - I don't know how they do it in english transcription, but in german Ü (ue) is the most used character ;)
