I can't tell the different shades of green apart on the contact map - especially since some are surrounded by white and others by grey. Would it be possible to change to a color gradient (rather than brightness gradient) such as yellow-orange-red-maroon-purple? If you don't want the red to get confused with sheets you could use cyan or something for the sheets.
