FoldIt crashes - Win7

Error thrown when trying to access any puzzle. Loads current solution / default start-up position, then immediately goes into "Not Responding" mode.

Just got new computer and a clean install of FoldIt. Crashes started last night after leaving 783 running with a macro on. Not surprising, but I started up again, played around a bit with 783 again before crash occurred. On third attempt, I could not even begin to move the puzzle. ALL other puzzles are now crashing immediately.

I am running Win 7 on my laptop. A workaround I stumbled across that sometimes gets me back in the game is to log in and enter the Tutorial puzzles instead of the science ones.

This resets View options to the defaults (clears out my dark background), but then I can click the menu button and go to the science puzzles and successfully open them.

I don't know what else is being reset by starting the tutorials, but at least it lets me play.

Are you saying that if even now, if you select the dark background that it will start crashing again?
