Freeze hinge points/residues for pull mode

A frustrating situation for me is when I think I see a better fold for a section of the protein and when I try to move that section the rest of the protein move too. All I wanted was to move one loop or helix but the pull just messed up everything else. Now I can freeze the protein and then unfreeze the section that I want to move. However, even that tends to move the section in ways I don't want and it can still be very frustrating (sometimes impossible) trying to get it to lay the way I want.

Suggestion: Have the ability to insert a hinge (a ball & socket type hinge) that you can place in a frozen sequence. If you pull on the sequence it will not move any of the sequence on the other side of the hinge and it will allow you to move the side being pulled as a frozen unit. Additionally, because it is a ball & socket type hinge you would have the ability to rotate around the hinge point. Two hinges would be required to move a section in the middle of the protein.

This may not really improve my scores but it would allow me explore folds that look better to my eye.

Example: How many times have you given us a puzzle with at bunch of sheets and I really wanted to try and make a tube out of them but no matter how hard I try I just can't get them to line up in a tube of sheets.
