I admit it. I was one of those that made comments about Hot Key A; the fact that it was too close to other Hot Keys and one wrong key stroke caused you to loose hours of good work. I admit it. But now that its gone I miss it. The problem is this: the accidental wiping out hours of work can no longer happen but the single key stroke to restore best (probably the most often single key stroke of them all) is replaced with Cmd + B function.
In general, there are too many controls to navigate Folding. A two key command to restore Best is just unnecessary. This is a step in the wrong direction.
Suggestion:
If Hot key "A" was restored to work as it did before, and UNDO would also be made to undo hitting hot key "A", then the only problem with Hot Key "A" is solved because one could always undo "Restore Best" if that was a mistake.
